Anastasias Ballet School
I began my dancing career at the Bolshoi School in Moscow and continued studying and performing at the Vaganova Academy in St. Petersburg. My studies took place under Professor Natalia Dudinskaya - the latest and most acclaimed pupil of legendary Agrippina Vaganova.
I started touring with the Vaganova Academy at the age of 16 and performed on numerous stages around the world. While professionally dancing with the Russian State Ballet and Bolshoi companies, I also pursued my teaching diploma and graduated from the Moscow Choreography Institute with Honors. I have also recently completed my Ph.D. in Education from the Moscow Institute of Culture and Arts.
After moving to the United States in the late 90s, I decided to dedicate myself solely to teaching. I directed the Vaganova Festivals at the Philadelphia Dance Conservatory for three years and taught advanced classical ballet at New York Ballet Institute. For the last six years I taught children at Scarsdale Ballet Studio where I staged performances of La Bayadere, Sleeping Beauty, Raymonda, Cinderalla, and Paquita.
In 2008 I relocated to Sydney, Australia with my husband. I am delighted to establish my school in this country and meet and coach new students!
